Okay guys I have a question my local distributor has this in stock and is asking the going price of $1295.00 Should I pull the trigger or use that money to sample some other fine single malts? Note: if I were to purchase it I would not drink it I would simply hold on to it thinking it could pos...

I know this is pertaining to whisky but was curious to see if anyone has tried the 30 yr or 40 yr ? If you have, if you could please let me know from your own experience that’ll be great!
Hard to come by these 83s. You find one, pull the trigger.

My vacation haul, got room for 1 more bottle under $120USD, any suggestions? I’m looking at Balvenie 15 SB, Old Pulteney 17, Glenmorangie Astar...all of your thoughts and advice are welcome. PS, they are for drinking not collecting. Thanks!

What’s your favorite bourbon and why?
Got a few addition today.
This whisky is 39 years old. Bottled at only 44.2% despite being Cask Strength. No added colour and no chill filtration. I know I shouldn’t but already want a back up bottle.
I took my first dram of single malt (Macallan 12 yr) over the holiday. I’m hooked! I’ve started my journey. At the suggestion of Whisky in the 6 I Picked up two bottles of Macallan 18 yr. One to drink and one to save. So far this is the best dram that I’ve had a chance to taste.
For those Glendronach collectors out there. Do you think the Glendronachs of old will go up in value based on the potential decline in quality with the new master distiller? Some answers will be selected and shared on my next video.

Is the Macallan Edition 2 worth the money? $175 in Ontario. Any idea the age range?

Great topic tonight on the live chat, Rob. Same issue/thing with the 15 year old a few years back.
While I’ve got some extra cash I’m trying to complete my list of wants. I’ve got room in my budget for a fairly expensive bottle. Should it be Macallan Rare Cask or Glengoyne 21 yr? Or is there another fine spirit suggestion?
Worth the purchase. Give the gift of water.
