Starting The Week With My Hand Engraved Bronze Diver, Don't Think I Can Dive With It Anymore 😁 Have A Great Start To The Week Everyone 👍
This morning's choice. I have only had it a couple of months, but it has become a favorite. The hand set is the same as my Presages and the dial is really sharp with only indices excepting the Arabic numbers for the GMT hand. Gives it a great appearance. Also, look at the second hand. It hits each index all the way around the dial.

Still on honeymoon phase with the new CW C60 Trident Blue Sapphire. Bracelet almost too good to want to change.. but, I will undoubtedly try on other strap options in time for fun. Fyi, no mention of this anywhere, but noticed in an early video review (credit to Random Rob) of this watch in a lume shot that what is printed in black on the bezel appeared to be lumed. Checking it out myself, it appears to be the case. Seems like a faint blue glow to whatever is printed in black on the bezel. See lume shot. Just visible shortly after a good charge as you can see. But, found it interesting it's even there. Off the bat, awesome mk3 light catcher design. Our is an original design, well-finished and smartly cut. I'll say it again, CW is at their greatest high point to date in high quality original designs that reflect who they are as a brand identity these days. They do a lot, but I am most favorable with the latest mk3 C60s, C65s, and the Moonglow is pretty cool, although I think they could have darkened the tiny to obscure the 2nd moon on bottom half of dial a little better. Overalk, very reasonable pricing, especially with their frequent sales a and discounts. One of the best warranties, too, 60/60. The bracelet is a slight bitch to size, but, not a big deal as once sized it's good forever. Besides it has a great micro-adjust system which I'll get to next. Love the sleek new clasp that retains the easy tool-free internal micro-adjust system. Runs great. Bezel action is smooth with nice clean affirmative clicks and aligns perfectly. Just a great original bezel design. Can state at dial and all the details around the watch all day in and out repeatedly... i think an important factor when choosing a wristwatch for long term is you can almost never get enough glances at it, forget about reading the time which so far has been fairly accurate at about +3 secs per day average over the past 4 days so far.

Bulova at work (watch story). Given to me by my father before his retirement, and to him originally by a company for 12 years of employment. This watch has now made it through my good and bad, and serves as a reminder of dedication, modesty & humbleness.

If you've seen most of my watches, I'm mostly into vintage or retro styles. However, I also like modern and original design watches. It's a refreshing addition and change to my watch collection line-up. As such, I think Christopher Ward is a good representative of a solid modern watchmaker. And, they've reached a good pinnacle in original design styles that are truly all their own. I really enjoy their current C60 and C65 mk3 "light catcher" case and distinct dial and handsets. There are a variety of models and applications CW has created. Probably a polarizing one, but I like what the new C60 Sapphire has to offer in build quality and distinct modern style at a reasonable price.
