Early '60s Buren 454 German military watch. Legendary watch brand that made part of the original "Dirty Dozen" (first watches issued for the British military). Only 4 out of 12 brands still exist; Omega, Longines, JLC and IWC. Buren changed owner several times in the '60s, until it was bought by Hamilton and started manufacturing their watches when Hamilton left the United States, to later dissappear when the Swatch Group acquired Hamilton. Once again, another victim of corporate consolidation but a very interesting story nonetheless.

Nice but... Doesn't have quick set day and date. It's a nightmare picking it up after a few weeks and having to set it again.
